Aeration

Solid Tine and Core Aeration

Why Aerate?

  • Perforates soil to allow air, water, and nutrients to reach the roots of your lawn
  • Ensures strong roots which can grow deeper and support more vigorously growing grass
  • Can stimulate the activity of beneficial soil microbes
  • Fix soil compaction.

Regular aeration – solid tines punch holes in the ground

Core aeration – hollow tines puncture the surface and then pulls a plug of soil from the ground on the way back out
